Hello There! As a West Linn native, I am so thankful every day that I have the privilege of living and working in this beautiful hometown I grew up in. Cosmetology is a second career for me. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and spent a few years teaching and substitute teaching. Later in life, I decided I was ready for a change. I wanted something that was really flexible, given I’m a mom of 5 kids. Cosmetology drew me in, because it’s fun, creative, and never stagnant. There are always new techniques, methods, and products that come out every year. I also love the continuing education part of it! You can be the best hairstylist in the world, but because new things are always coming out or evolving, you can ALWAYS learn more and become better. The best part of my job though are the guests that sit in my chair. I love getting to know people and having fun while we do hair.

When I started the hair program at Bella Institute, I knew I had found my calling! I absolutely LOVE everything hair! I love helping clients feel beautiful and having the opportunity to pamper them and make them feel special. I love creating beautiful, dimensional, natural looking hair, I love highlighting hair, and hair cutting! I am a big communicator when it comes to doing hair. I always appreciate client feedback, so I can learn what works for their hair and what doesn’t. Building a relationship of trust is important to me and my guests always know that I will always do my best to give them the hair they want and love!

When I’m not at the salon, I am enjoying time with family, spending time in my garden, going on walks with my husband and cooking. My family loves paddle boarding on the river or just spending an evening at the park, listening to music and playing throw games, horseshoe or lawn darts.

I hope I have the opportunity to meet you soon at Tousled Salon and create some beautiful hair! I love meeting new clients and fellow West Linn community members and would love the opportunity to get to know you too and create some beautiful hair together!
